This is the website for the Workshop on Semiparametric Statistics, which will be hosted by Ghent University from 13 to 14 December 2017. This is a two-day workshop that aims to bring together key players in modern advances in semiparametric statistics.

Final program

There will be sessions on

• Semiparametric efficiency and robustness
• High-dimensional inference
• Functional data analysis
• Survival analysis
• Applications in life sciences

Each session will have an invited speaker and two or three contributed talks.

We have received confirmation of several key players in the discipline:

The event will be held in Monasterium Poortackere in the city center of Ghent, Belgium. It was build in 1278 as a beguine house and after World War II it was used as an orphanage for young women. Nowadays it is a seminar center with a restaurant and guest house.
